The Gospel Truth

Marching Georgia

Keyboardist, Michael Nelson created StreetSide Saints along with his best friend and vocalist Dave Joseph in 2020. The intent was to create a positive feel-good musical experience that could be easily transported anywhere including busking on the streets. Both Dave and Mike were inspired by the street performers they had seen on a recent trip to New Orleans. In 2021 guitarist, Eric Joseph began visiting state and county parks setting up and playing both acoustic and electric guitar. Mike soon joined him, so it only made sense to get everyone together again. They called drummer Denium Knight another friend and musician who played with the three friends in bands in the past. As they put together music and started performing at random places, they realized something was still missing, something that was missing in several of their past endeavors, a solid bass player. In the fall of  2021 Eric was introduced to bassist Dave “Stultzy” Stultz by friend Jay Warhola, guitarist and vocalist with 30 Years Later. StreetSide Saints were now ready for some serious fun, positive and feel-good performing.
